Several branches of the Schoenstatt Movement have developed in the North Texas area for more than twenty years. The Couples, Mothers, and Youth Branches, and the Rosary Campaign of our Pilgrim Mother, all started in the mid 90’s with single small groups, and they have gradually grown to become a vibrant resource for the local Church.

We endeavor to live our faith lives together, striving for “everyday sanctity” in small group, family like settings, under the care and guidance of the Blessed Mother. We are assisted by regular visits from the Schoenstatt Fathers and Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary.

Members may participate at any level ranging from receiving the Pilgrim Shrines of Our Mother Thrice Admirable, to attending occasional retreats or regular monthly meetings.

The Shrine is the center and home of our spiritual growth. These small chapels are pilgrim centers, where the faithful greet the Blessed Mother around the world. There are over 200 Shrines throughout the world. Currently we have 3 Shrines in Texas:

Bethlehem Cradle of Sanctity, Austin, Texas

Cor Unum in Patrae (One Heart in the Father), San Antonio, Texas

The Confidentia Shrine, Lamar, Texas

These Shrines are small chapels where we meet as Family with Mary as our Mother under the gaze of God the Father. In the absence of such pilgrim centers, in the local area we currently have 5 wayside Shrines as places to meet privately or with small groups at local parishes.

Dallas:

All Saints, Dallas
Saint Gabriel, McKinney
Saint Ann, Coppell
St. Mark the Evangelist, Plano

Fort Worth:

Saint Francis, Grapevine
Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, Keller

“Take this picture of the Blessed Mother and give it a place of honor in your home. Then your home will become a little shrine in which the picture of grace will mediate many graces, create a holy family atmosphere, and form holy family members.”

Founder of Schoenstatt
