On Saturday, May 23rd, the Mothers Branch of North Texas crowned our Mother Thrice Admirable at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Fort Worth. Led by pastor Father Óscar Sánchez-Olvera, CORC, our beloved MTA was crowned Queen of Physical and Spiritual Health before a mask-clad congregation of more than one hundred fifty, including parishioners and Schoenstatt children from both Dallas and Fort Worth dioceses. The Spanish-English bilingual ceremony, celebrated after the Saturday Vigil Mass of the Ascension of Our Lord, was also transmitted via Zoom in order to include members of the Schoenstatt family currently in isolation due to the sanitary emergency. Catholic faithful have reported watching it from faraway places in and out of the great state of Texas.
Focus points during the ceremony, which besides the crowning and flower offerings to the MTA included our consecration to our Mother and Queen, were the praying of the powerful “Hold the Scepter in Your Hand” prayer and the reading of our Father and Founder’s invitation to theology students on his talk in Milwaukee on January 1st, 1963 to count on Mary’s powerful intercession before the throne of the Most-High Triune God. His words resounded clearly as he urged all those present to pronounce our own clarifica te! and clarifica me! in uttermost childlike confidence, counting on Mother and Queen’s decisive influence. And so it happened. We now pray with Father Kentenich, “Let the world see your active hand and stand in admiration before you”. (Heavenwards) She is opening doors.
