The Schoenstatt Mothers of St. Ann's hosted a celebration marking the 10 year anniversary of the "Streams of Love" Wayside Shrine at St. Ann's. Members from the Mothers' and Family Branch and St. Ann's Parish came together for devotion, song and blessing. The devotion was led by Father Francisco Orozco from St. Ann's and Patricia Bowlin from the Mothers' Branch.
We began our celebration with a presentation of roses by Mariel Arellano and Maria Castro to the Blessed Mother as a sign of gratitude and love--10 roses--to represent each year of our Lady's faithfulness to her Wayside Shrine. Presentation was followed by singing "Salve Regina"..
The day was doubly blessed since the celebration fell on the 18th, Schoenstatt's Covenant Day. As a family in unity we renewed our Covenant of Love Consecration in song, led by Sister M. Heidi Infante.
As a special gift and symbol of our love to the Blessed Mother, the Mothers from St. Ann's gave her a new, gold-framed Picture of Grace. Sheila Sevener and Betty Pearson, unveiled the picture and Father Francisco blessed it. The Mothers promise to continue bringing all their capital of graces in gratitude for all our Lady has done and continues to do from her Shrine.
Devotion concluded with a final blessing and sending forth from Father Francisco.
The Mothers invited everyone for sweet treats and community.
It was a day filled with joy, peace, community and heavenly blessings. Blessed Mother will continue to work miracles from her place of grace. We thank you with all our hearts, dearest Mother. We love you!
"She is simply the gift which God in his wisdom, kindness and omnipotence gave to our family in a special way on October 18, 1914, and through our family in a new way to the world." Father Kentenich

“Take this picture of the Blessed Mother and give it a place of honor in your home. Then your home will become a little shrine in which the picture of grace will mediate many graces, create a holy family atmosphere, and form holy family members.”

Founder of Schoenstatt
